Bermuda Railway Trail (Easy-Advance)
Trail Highlights
~18 miles of trail which lies on the site of
Bermuda’s historic railway line that served
the island from 1931-1948. This is the most
accessible and well-travelled trail on the island
~ Closed to all motor-operated vehicles
~ Easiest parts of trail are located on the west
side of island
~ Moderate-hard trails are located on the east
side of island
~ Ideal for families and couples
~ Riders have access to ferries and other modes
of transportation

CYCLING
in Bermuda
While on vacation, many people choose to cycle around
Bermuda, enjoying the beautiful landscape. If you’re
one who isn’t averse to bike rides, you too can join the
adventure.
Pedal and hybrid-electric bikes are available for rent for
a half or full day, or for the entire length of your stay on
the island. Average rental rates are in the range of $30 to
$40 per day.
SOME HELPFUL INFORMATION
Bermudians ride on the left side of the road.
“Bike” is the term used on the island for a motorized
scooter and “bicycle” is the term used for a human-
powered, pedal-driven vehicle. It is suggested that only
experienced bicyclists should ride on the main roads.
Helmets are required for all cyclists.
