Trinidad Carnival is considered to be the second largst in the world after Rio de Janerio, Brazil. Usually co-inciding with the Catholic religion’s pre-lenten period, it is a celebration of the island’s cultural heritage, showcasing the steel pan, calypso and soca music, costumed bands and street revelers.
