The white sand beach welcomes
you with its wide open arms. Relax
on a beach chair as you lounge
under a beach umbrella, or lay out
in the sun to soak up the radiance
of the Caribbean sun. Waves lap
at the beach when they’re feeling
gentle, or swell to feed the thirst
of the excited surfer. The beach
also boasts a stretch of restaurants
offering a popular sandwich in
the island- shark and bake. This
sandwich, with its variety of
toppings, are as much an attraction
as the beach itself. Worth the road
trip.
Finally, carnival. This parade of
music and revelry is the island’s
culture at fever pitch! It’s an
event that people look forward to,
exercise for, travel to Trinidad for,
and never forget. From the parade
of costumes to the road march to
after-parties, Trinidad is alive with
the spirit of Carnival. It is one of

Trinidad’s main attractions, and
one that invites participants from
all walks of life and all countries.
Carnival is Trinidad.
If you are looking to be immersed
into a culture of celebration and
warmth, Trinidad is the place for
you.
