Cuban Fried Plantains
INGREDIENTS
2 firm, ripe plantains
oil, for frying
PREPARATION
Peel the plantains. Cut diagonally into 5 or 6 pieces.
Heat oil in pan over medium heat. When oil is hot, fry the plantains until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towel-lined plate. Serve hot.
Serves 3.
