WEATHER Israel has two distinct seasons : winter and summer Winter runs from April to October and Summer from May to September .
Summers are hot , in the 80 ° -90 ° F range ( 27 ° -32 °). Winters are mild , 50 ° -60 ° ( 10 ° -15 ° C ). Between December and March , you ’ ll see snow on Mount Hermon summit which is 2,814 metres ( 9,232 ft ) above sea level . It may snow in Jerusalem and Galilee .
