Qatar Airways Flies The World ’ S First Fully Covid-19 Vaccinated Flight
After grappling with the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic , which brought the aviation industry and the world as a whole to a standstill , the airline operated its fully vaccinated flight from Hamad International Airport on April 6 th , 2021 , becoming the first air carrier in the world to do so .
Flight QR6421 was operated by the sustainable A350-1000 fleet and carried only vaccinated passengers and crew members on board . All passengers at the airport were assisted by only vaccinated ground force . The Hamad International Airport became the first and only airport in the Middle East and Asia to get Skytrax 5-Star COVID-19 Safety Ratings .
