Cayman Turtle Centre
Clear your schedule and be prepared for hours of fun and learning! Established in 1968, the Cayman
Turtle Centre, located in West Bay, now hosts over 500,000 visitors annually. Although the Green
Sea Turtle is its main focus, you will also find other interesting creatures here such as a resident
crocodile. You can swim beside turtles, watch nurse sharks and other fishes, visit the Aviary,
butterfly garden and stroll along the trail. And, if you’re at one of the resorts in the Seven Mile Beach
area, a complimentary shuttle will take you to the Centre.
The Centre is open daily (except Christmas Day and Good Friday) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
