PLACES OF INTEREST Saba National Marine Park Established in 1987 to preserve Saba’s pristine marine environment, this park extends around the island’s entire five square miles, conveniently zoned for different activities. One third is allocated to diving and in that area there are 36 permanent mooring buoys to safeguard the coral from dive boats’ damaging anchors. Divers can expect to come face to face with Green and Hawksbill Turtles, Whale and Hammerhead Sharks, Lobsters, Spotted Eagle Rays and other sea life plus colourful coral reef, which is home to thousands of marine animals. A fee of $3 USD is payable per dive. CLICK HERE for more. Photo Credit: Cees Timmers Photography
