livia’s journey
in the field of
fashion design
began many
years before
she debuted a
collection. Her
late mother
often made
matching
outfits for her three
daughters, and being the
youngest of the girls, Olivia
quickly became tired of
wearing the same outfits
as her sisters and wanted
other items of clothing.
She then started designing
pieces of her own. Even if
her mother did not oblige
her, she always had a sketch
somewhere! As Olivia grew
older, she became more
creative and this creativity
was reflected in the clothing
she continued to design.
The brand Olivia B is easy,
resort like, free flowing
and classy. As a bespoke
designer, anyone, at
anytime can have a piece
from Olivia B. She designs
clothing for women - all
women, regardless of shape
or size but she would love
to see 'Olivia Pope' (Kerry
Washington), 'Mary Jane'
(Gabrielle Union), Michelle
Obama and Patricia Bright
in any of her pieces. Now
that would be something!
Although Olivia is inspired
by many designers, she
absolutely loves Olivier
Rousteing of Balmain,
Cristian Siriano who she had
the pleasure of meeting in
September 2016, Felisha
Noel of Fe Noel and
Colombian Designer Pepa
Pombo just to name a few.
Some may have seen Olivia
B designs at her debut
show during Allure Fashion
Weekend 2015; at Cayman
Islands Fashion Week 2016
and Nolcha Shows New
York Fashion Week Spring/
Summer 2016.
Her stylish clothing is
neither sold online nor
in boutiques. They are all
custom made for her clients.
Olivia B’s next collection will
most likely be a colourful,
feel-good, look-good
collection with pieces for
the modern-day, business
woman who wants the ease
of a put-on-and-go outfit
while remaining classy and
fresh.
