CAKE. The Editor says . . . It’s summer and many head to tropical destinations to vacation with family and friends. This time of year also see couples getting engaged while on vacation, getting married or renewing their vows. All of the Caribbean islands offer ideal settings for these memorable events however, there is one island that can boast of having 365 beaches on which your memories can be created. Let’s say hello to Antigua and Barbuda, where the beach is just the beginning! Indeed, you can visit a different beach each day of the year, but that’s not all. The islands’ intrigue extends to its people. It will be hard to miss the welcoming aura, the “at home” feeling as you wander around. Visitors are friends. Antigua can also boast of having some of the best event planners and cake decorators in the Caribbean! So, regardless of the event you may have in mind during your vacation, they’ve got you covered. Although Barbuda is still recovering from last year’s hurricane, it extends an invitation to all those seeking solitude. Pristine and largely uninhabited, relaxation is assured.
