GETTING TO
ST. BARTHÉLEMY
BY AIR:
To get to St. Barthélemy, you will have to first
fly to St. Martin/St. Maarten, San Juan Puerto
Rico or Anguilla, then on to St. Barthélemy
with one of several airlines which flies daily to
the island:
Air Antilles Express
Air Caraibes Express
Saint Barth Commuter
Tradewind Aviation
Windward Express Airways
Winair
Trans Anguilla Airways
This is no place for prestige cars or high heels. Sandals and crumpled
t-shirts are de rigueur on the sidewalks and beaches – though if
you are partial to a little retail therapy, the stores in the port offer
a wide selection of leading international brands and creations by
local designers - the island is a playground for fashionistas of every
type. As evening falls, locals rub shoulders with visiting celebrities
dressed in a mixture of sophisticated evening wear and simple
linen dresses. When it comes to tastes in clothing, the only thing
people here have in common is their diversity.

BY BOAT:
For those who prefer to begin their vacation
with style, there is a more comfortable way
to arrive in St Barth, by sea: Taxi Boats. These
are private companies whose representatives
meet you upon your arrival at Princess Juliana
airport, and drive you to the dock where a
beautiful motorboat will speed off over the
incredible turquoise waters that lead to
St Barthélemy.
