Bequia
Bequia is a popular
yachting destination and
the second largest island
of the Grenadines. As a
backdrop for the boat
filled bays and beaches,
there are hillsides dotted
with bougainvillea.
The main town is Port
Elizabeth. You can walk
on the south side of the
waterfront, passing the
shops and restaurants,
crossing a small rise to
reach Princess Margaret
Beach. If you continue past
the rocky outcrop, you will
come to the golden sands
of Lower Bay from where
there are some great
snorkeling opportunities.
