“If I had to advise aspiring young models, I’d let them know that it is okay to dream big but we must also be realistic and put in the hard work if we really want to become successful. As cliché as this sounds if success was easy to attain everyone would be successful, so we must be willing to really work hard. My motivation is waking up early in the morning with a masterplan as to what I can do to promote my brand, what sets apart my work from the rest of the designers out there? And what connections can I make? Every day I am researching the latest trends and on the Vogue website to remain updated with the latest events. A day should never be wasted because so much can be done. Most of my life I felt like I been running up and down doing errands and putting in blood sweat and tears into my craft and many people will never really understand how much work goes into the whole process of my aesthetic when I’m designing and creating a piece. Also, believing in yourself even when everyone says it’s not possible is the first step to attaining whatever you desire in life. Never belittle or limit yourself because of your current situation. It doesn’t matter where you are from, once you believe in yourself all negativity and hindrances will become irrelevant because drive shines through.” Facebook: Akeem-Anthony Adams Lookbook: Akeem-Anthony Adams Instagram: akeem_adams
