Gran Roque
(The Great Rock)
There are over 50 islands
that make up the Los
Roques Islands but the
main one, Gran Roque,
although not the largest,
is the only one which is
inhabited. It it is here you
will land on their small
airport and also here
you’ll get boats to take
you to the other islands.
Due to Los Roques being
a National Park, there
are no large resorts here
only an assortment of
Inns but some are quite
sophisticated and pride
themselves on their
gastronomy.
