About classical ballet in Haiti Advice to aspiring young dancers
There is dance and there are great dancers in
Haiti, but classical ballet is not common at all
and it has been my dream since I started dancing
to bring everything from what I have learned
throughout my career back to my mother land. Go, give it a try, push for your dreams and don’t
ever take no for an answer if you really want it.
Everyone has opinions but at the end of the day
with hard work, it will always pay off and you will
never know how good you are, or how far you
can go, if you do not try.
To Haiti’s visitors . . .
Give the island a scan from north to south, there
are different amazing things one can enjoy in
each and every city in Haiti. Of course, the
Citadelle, Basin Blue, More Pilboro, Jacmel and the
rice fields in Artibonite are not to be missed.
While in Artibonite try my most favorite dish in
the world “diri blanc, sauce pwa blanc avec lalo”
