North Sound, Virgin Gorda
The North Sound is one large marine
playground and the BVIs main water sports
center. Here amenities are available for all
manner of activities including diving, sailing,
parasailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, jet skiing
and glass bottom boats. As well as there being
restaurants and resorts here, there are also
places like the Bitter End Yacht Club where
boaters can pick up provisions.
White Bay Beach,
Jost Van Dyke
With steep hills plunging to meet this
expanse of dazzling white sandy beach which
is sheltered from waves by a barrier reef, it
is no wonder White Bay Beach is one of the
most popular beaches in the BVIs. The palm
lined beach nestled between the aquamarine
waters, green hills and blue sky make an ideal
setting to enjoy a drink at one of the four
beach bars.

Norman Island
10 kilometers southwest of Tortola, Norman
Island is the largest of the BVIs uninhabited
islands and is thought to be the place that
inspired Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure
Island. The island has four underwater caves
which extend under the island for as far as 24
meters and as well as providing a great diving
experience, these caves have provided fuel for
many legends.
