There is a wide appreciation of craft throughout
the island, paving way for the establishment of the
Bermuda Craft Market - the largest craft market in
the country. The current location of this market
was once a barrel-making warehouse, which has
been converted into stalls housing an attractive
collection of the island’s best art and craft. An
impressive array of souvenirs and gifts made by
talented local artisans are beautifully displayed
and sold here. The artisans take immense pride
in their collection of pottery, sea glass jewelry,
banana dolls, knitted gombey dolls, ceramics,
textiles and a lot more. As visitors wander around
the Market, they are able to witness first-hand,
and will undoubtedly appreciate the artisans’ skills
during their craft and art demonstrations.
A market will not be complete without tasty
food. Enjoy the selection of local delicacies while
wandering around the stalls.
