• An artist seen at Honey Jam was asked to
perform at Broadway to Barbados

. Debbie Reifer showcased at Canadian Music
Week, performed at Los Angeles House of Blues,
had songs featured in motion pictures and used
for international campaign against domestic
violence and had a Christmas CD produced
• Nikita and Kristen Walker booked for Bequai
Jazz Festival and has been touring with Arturo
Tappin and working with international producers . Nikita has secured regional international
bookings and was also selected to represent
Barbados on tour of China, tours with Machel
Montano
• Tyra Trotman signed to SRP Records with
producer Evan Rogers who discovered Rihanna . Karma Nai found a manager at Honey Jam and
has travelled to L.A. to write and record
• Malissa Alanna recorded and worked with
songwriters in Nashville, USA. . HJ alumna invited to perform for NCF e-create
showcase - April 2013
• Emma King was seen at Honey Jam by a
Canadian Publisher who subsequently arranged
for a co-writing session in Toronto
. Erica Walker was booked for Tobago Jazz
. Many Honey Jam alumni perform at Love Poetry
and Song AIDS fundraisers.
. In past years a promotional CD has been
produced featuring tracks from some of the
artists which was given to local and international
. Mia Ch’an has met with music execs in Canada,
U.S. and Europe
. Sarah Mark was flown up to Canada to work
with producers
. Leashia Browne performed on stage with
Shontelle Layne and went on to work with NYC
producers
. Erin Griffith received modelling contracts
. Rhesa Garnes has been booked for months-long
contracts annually to perform in Qatar
