Though there are several extensive trails in the
region, many hiker’s dream-trek is to climb Mount
Scenery, Saba’s highest mountain. Ascending to
the island’s highest point is no walk in the park,
yet it is truly fulfilling. You will pass by the ruins
of ancient towns and view ocean vistas along the
way. Hiking the unknown could be quite risky, so
it’s best to have a local to guide you. But, these
guides are not your typical tour-person. They are
cheerful people who love to share their culture
and island-tales with tourists. Your hike will never
be a boring.
