The Editor says . . . There is a special something about Caribbean culture and its music which lures people from outside of the Caribbean region, enticing them to explore. Oftentimes visitors are so mesmerized by it that they are moved to share the Caribbean with others. Beyond Vancouver and the Mélange team, there are many others who use their resources to share a bit of Caribbean-ness with their world. In this issue, you’ll meet some of them. As always, we are happy to highlight one Caribbean island as our cover story and this time we’re pleased to present you with Dominica, the Nature Island. The Tourism Minister, Senator, Honourable Robert Tonge, was gracious to provide us with some insights into what Dominica offers to visitors. We also showcase a few of Dominica’s talented residents who are in their different capacities, making their country proud. Happy Reading. Gabi Dalton PROUDLY CANADIAN.
