#6. PIC-O-DE-CROP FINALS
#4. MONARCHS OF THE MAS
We’ve been to the calypso tents and
heard what gets Barbadians talking.
Now it’s down to the finalists who
will challenge the reigning Calypso
Monarch for the coveted title. It’s
social commentary at its best.

#5. BRIDGETOWN MARKET
A BIG show with BIG costumes!
Gear up for Kadooment Day with this
feature of the Kings and Queens of the
mas (parade) bands as they “jump”
(dance) to the season’s hits and display
the largest and most extravagant
costumes to be seen on the big day.

Spring Garden Highway is now
transformed into a colourful, bustling,
and pleasantly chaotic mix of loudly
pumping rhythms, tantalizing aromas
of local fare, and tons of local art
and craft. Live musical and dramatic
performances bring Barbadian culture
to us in a fun and family-friendly way!

#3. RECOVERY CRUISE Wind
down (not really!) from the season
on one of many “cool down” cruises.
Unlimited music + unlimited drinks
all day = unlimited fun! Get everyone
together and let’s end the season the
right way!
KADOOMENT DAY
#2. JUNIOR
CALYPSO MONARCH
COMPETITION AND
JUNIOR KADOOMENT
PARADE The kids will not be
left out! These kiddie versions
of the adult events are amusing,
inspiring, and entertaining all at
once. Children aged 8-18 sing
their (sometimes) self-written
calypsos for a shot at the Junior
Calypso Monarch title, and
kiddie revellers charm us in
their cute costumes ¨jumping¨
to the season´s hits on their very
own Kadooment Day.

The vibrantly colourful and exhilarating climax of Crop Over, this parade
of beautifully adorned revellers gyrating to the hottest, heart-pumping
rhythms of the season winds along 1km on Spring Garden Highway. Wellcontrolled crowds line the street on both sides hoping to catch a glimpse
of a familiar or famous face. This is the BIG DAY!
