#18. CROP OVER CRAFT
WORKS This is what I call a true
mixed-pot event. At the Barbados
Museum, local artisans display their
works in leather, textiles, wood, and
metal. There´s henna tattooing and
face painting for the kids, a Bajan Eats
station offers locally made delicacies,
live actors bring you Barbadian culture
up close, DJ/live music gets you in the
Crop Over spirit, there’s guided tours
of the museum´s galleries, plus a host
of other things to see and do.

to Independence”, the walking tour of
the city exposes visitors to historically
significant people, places, and events

through ¨live statues¨, costumed
performers, and conveniently placed

story of Crop Over through beautiful
2D and 3D works and textile/jewellery/
