This was evident even back in 1994, when
her younger sister, Kelly-Ann Ross, donned
hand-painted gown and jewelry, both
Leisha-creations, and won 1st place in the
Grenada Carnival Queen competition.
Kelly-Ann went on to represent Grenada
in the Miss OECS competition and also
won 1st place wearing the signature hand-
painted gown.

Her other book, Mind Your
Manners, also has fruits as the
main characters, each with
an adorable name, reminding
children about the importance
of having good manners. The
books will be available on
Amazon in the near future.
Today, an assortment of jewellery, dresses,
sarongs, beach wraps, kaftans and shirts
have joined the Mahagonee signature
collection, worn by customers all over the
world. Christmas cards too, are part of her
impressive portfolio.
Although Leisha designs and creates all of her
branded products, and also manages her parents’
printery full time, she still finds time to teach arts and
craft to children. Fridays will find her at her old school,
passing on knowledge she has gained over the years
to the young ones, possibly influencing the birth of
future designers and artists.
Two children’s books were authored and illustrated
by Leisha, further extending her creative reach. Fruit
