Levera Beach
At the very north of the island in the parish St. Patrick, the Levera Beach is a great spot
for picnics with friends, family or solo. Some of the tour companies will have it on
their itinerary, but for the visitors who may have rented a vehicle and are discovering
the island on their own, this is one of the places you will want to visit. Pack a picnic
basket and plan to spend a few hours here. Chances are it won’t be busy during the
week-days so you can enjoy the scenery and peaceful environs, undisturbed. It is
recommended, however, that you swim with care, as the current here is deceptively
strong as many of the locals will attest, and if asked, they will have many a tale to tell
about the seas at Levera Beach.
