Inagua
With over 140 species of native and migratory birds, this island is a haven for birdwatchers.
Consisting of two islands, Great Inagua and Little Inagua, three national parks and pretty
flamingos, nature lovers will enjoy a visit to these two islands which are the southernmost of
the Bahamian islands.
Mayaguana
A small island with a population of about 300 people, visitors come to Mayaguana for a very
quiet vacation, where tranquility is the objective. Like most of the other islands, there are
caves to explore, fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving, but this island’s attraction is the relative
calm that it offers, amidst an untouched, picturesque landscape.
Bahamasair flies regularly from Nassau to Abraham’s Bay, one of the three villages on the
island. The other two villages are Pirate’s Well, and Betsy Bay.
