Flat Point Tide Pools
Rock pools of varying sizes present a beautiful sight at Flat Point. Among the volcanic
rocks, these refreshing pools with their resident sea creatures can keep you fascinated for
many hours. The ethereal quality of this area is worth the short hike and the clamber over
rocky terrain, to get to the place where waves batter stubborn rocks to create a fascinating
enclave of many spots that are just delightfully perfect for swimming. A definite must-visit.
Saba Artisan
Foundation
The exquisite work of Saba’s artisans can be found in
the islands’s capital, The Bottom, at the Saba Artisan
Foundation. Visitors will find manually hand-screened
fabrics, T-shirts, bags, ladies and men’s apparel and
many other locally-made items. The local liqueur,
Saba Spice, can also be found here. Made on Saba
from a recipe that has been handed down through
generations over the years, there are different flavors
of this delicious drink, such as Ginger, Banana,
Vanilla, Guavaberry, Caribbean Mix and Guava. Be
sure to buy a bottle or two during your visit.
The Manager, Ms. Lucy Hassell and her staff are
accommodating and will be happy to share
information about any of the products they sell and
about their island. Be sure to visit.
