Square. Cultural activities take the
spotlight but there are also fun activities,

castles, cartoon characters games and

Nobel Laureate Week
St. Lucia is proud to have two Nobel
Laureates - Sir William Arthur Lewis
who won the Nobel Memorial Prize
in Economics in 1979 and Sir Derek
Walcott who won the Nobel Prize in
Literature in 1992. During this week,
their success is celebrated with activities
such as performances by students,
poetry, music, guest lectures and drama.
The theme for 2019’s celebration will be:
“Celebrating Excellence: Forty Years On”
