Bayamo
Known as the birthplace of Cuban nationality, due to it being the headquarters for the war of
independence against Spain, Bayamo is the island’s second oldest city and the capital of the Granma
Province. This city is especially interesting to visit in October during La Fiesta de la Cubanía, which
celebrates Cuban culture.
