places of interest House of Chocolate The House of Chocolate on Young Street in the city’s capital, is a small chocolate museum. No visitor to this mini-museum ever leaves without also visiting the café where they can buy chocolate made right on the premises. The café also has a delightful selection of cakes, ice creams and other tasty snacks appreciated by most visitors who would, quite often, have more than one serving of the museum’s delicious ice cream flavours. Nutmegs Photo Credit: TripAdvisor Nutmeg is an important part of Grenada’s economy and often its smell permeates the street in certain parts of the island. One of the places where the aroma of nutmeg is obvious is in the western town of Gouyave. The Gouyave Nutmeg Processing Cooperative operates a nutmeg processing station from an old facility here. Tours of the facility are available. You can also visit their Nutmeg World shop where you’ll find nutmeg products and souvenir items available for sale. Photo Credit: TripAdvisor
