Conception Island National Park
It is believed that Christopher Columbus landed here in 1492. This park,
consisting of 25,173 acres, provides a home for green turtles, nesting sea birds
and migratory birds. People can visit Conception Island but no fishing is allowed.
Visitors can snorkel and dive to discover the wide variety of marine life that live
in the waters around this island, which is devoid of human interference - almost
surreal in its beauty.
