Jallim Eudovic Artist, St. Lucia

I’ m a true son of St. Lucian soil, born and raised on the island, however I’ ve never considered myself an islander. I navigate the global space and my outlook has always been inclusive of, yet beyond my immediate environment. I find the idea that I can contribute to the global contemporary conversation through my art quite intriguing and that drives me.
I was brought up in an environment that encouraged limitless imagination and possibilities and that mindset has remained at my core. I picked up my first cheisel at the age of five and have been sculpting ever since. My father was a dominant force in my early development. He was an international artist at the pinnacle of his career and I mirrored his every step until I was able to grow my own legs and walk my own path.
My mother who has largely been an unsung part of my story was also and still remains very influential in my process. I’ ve never had a collection that she has not offered counsel or assistance on. My siblings, three brothers and two sisters, who were all equally immersed in the arts, unwittingly provided me with fierce competition which was a vital part of my early development.
All in all I’ m an up and coming artist, I’ ve exhibited my work in all corners of the globe and have been an earnest contributor to the Chinese public art scene for the last 10 years.
