Barbancourt Rum Distillery
A visit to the Barbancourt Rum Distillery in Port-au-Prince offers more than just a look at a distillery. It is a
symbol of Haitian pride as its rum is internationally known. Their tour is very informative and outlines the entire
rum-making process. It is roughly a 2 hour tour with guides willing to answer any questions you may have.
Barbancourt, like many Haitian businesses, was dealt a hard blow from the 2010 earthquake but it is now back
on its feet, serving up some of the world’s best rum.
