Shanika Burnett shakad Eco Wear Barbados
“ All of the outfits in these photographs are part of our new Shakad Eco Wear line called EcCoCa which features various hand applique techniques in the detailing and embellishments.
For this collection, I was very inspired by the fabric itself and tried to let the fabric tell its own story. I wanted to play up the natural element so I embellished with recycled hand made rope, coconut and calabash.
All of the photos were taken around the beautiful and historic Bridgetown in Barbados.”
