This past year saw the birth of Mélange Travel and Lifestyle Magazine and the Caribbean Tourism Marketing Agency in Vancouver . In our pursuit to share “ all things Caribbean ” with our readers , we tentatively stepped into the arena with others who love this region and who try in various ways to encourage people to travel there . Our journey continues .
Again , we present an all-encompassing view of the Caribbean , including the rich talent of its people interspersed with bits of history , culture , island-happenings and mouthwatering tidbits , all thrown together to showcase the authentic Caribbean - a mélange of flavours !
We say thank you to Trinidad ’ s Tourism Office and its Minister of Tourism , Honourable Shamfa Cudjoe for this issue ’ s cover story where Trinidad ’ s Tourism brand and its upcoming carnival festivites are examined .
