Udall
This is the most easterly
point of the United
States and its territories,
and it is located on the
eastern end of island
of St. Croix. In 2000
a sundial named the
Millennium Monument
was built above Point
Udall to mark the start
of the new millennium.
This location attracts
many visitors who come
here to enjoy the breath-
taking panoramic view
of the sea, and to watch
the spectacular sunrise
from this spot which is
the very fi rst place the
sun rises in the entire
United States. There is
no cell phone reception
so far out east, but it
won’t be missed because
this beautiful, peaceful
location encourages you
to be alone with your
thoughts without outside
interference, as you
wallow in the dramatic
scene which lies before
you.
