Eleuthera...All That Jazz
This weekend Jazz concert will provide a
showcase for Bahamian musicians and feature
a variety of international artists. All profits
from these events will benefit the Haynes
Library.
APRIL 21
Earth Day Festival
Rock Sound, South Eleuthera.
This event features activities such as
music, dance, art, culture, heritage design
advocacy, education about the environment,
service, friendship and the connection of
communities.
MAY 4 - 6
Island Roots Heritage Festival
Green Turtle Cay Abaco
The festival showcases and celebrates the
relationship between New Plymouth and its
sister settlement Key West. It features lots
of educational facts about the relationship
between the two cities, great Bahamian
food and entertainment, and beautiful straw
pieces.
JUNE 8 - 10
All Andros Crab Fest
This annual event, held the second weekend
in June, celebrates the crab-catching ways
of Andros island, which is referred to as “The
Land of Crabs.” Highlights include land crabs
cooked in 101 ways, a crab cultural show,
releasing of the crabs, a crab culinary contest,
crabs of Andros life cycle display, and Rake &
Scrape Music. The venue is 2½ miles from the
Andros Town Airport.
