K
eevin was born in the small
community of Mesopotamia.
Raised by his mother and
grandmother, from the
tender age of eight he discovered that music
in church provided a source of comfort for him.
Gradually he taught himself to play the keyboard,
drums and guitar. He gained exposure in the
musical field by joining a gospel band then tried
playing music secularly but he still experienced a
void in his life.
In Keevin’s small community of Mesopotamia,
most considered poverty to be the “norm” but
that notion gave him the urge to work steadfastly
towards his vision of achieving a better life for
himself and family. He received his education at
the Marriaqua Government School, Mountain View
Adventist Academy Secondary School and later
at the St Vincent & the Grenadines Community
College. An eye-opening, near-death experience
made him realize that he was given a second
chance to fulfill God’s purpose in his life. At that
point, he made a commitment to full-time ministry
as a worship leader and music minister with the
dream of eventually becoming a gospel minister.
In January 2017, Keevin released his first EP
Album, “The Remnant”. He was influenced by
the lives of Ron Kenoly and Sonnie Badu whose
music has impacted the gospel arena all over
the world. Working with music on a professional
level has been challenging but having a mentor
who promotes Kingdom excellence with ample
