Millet Bird Sanctuary Trail
If you are a bird-watcher, on your visit to St. Lucia this is a trail you absolutely must traverse. To see the
island’s 30 species of birds you’ll have to undertake a 2 hour hike taking you up to 1,000 ft above sea level,
but your reward will be breathtaking views which includes a view of the Roseau Dam, the largest dam in
the Eastern Caribbean. Along the trail, look out for the St. Lucia Parrot, the Saint Lucia Oriole, Black Finch,
Peewee and Warbler. The plants in the rainforest are also worthy of note.
