Here are seven miles of picturesque beach on the west side of Jamaica with
something exciting for every vacationer. With beaches so pristine, many may be
tempted to secure a private spot on the picture-perfect sand and not move a
muscle. So serene! Others may seek out the clothing-optional section, basking in
the temporary feeling of freedom from fabric restrictions. In an effort to preserve
the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape, resorts are set back away from
the beach and none are taller than the cocount trees gracing this scenic vista.
There is quite a lot to do at Negril. You can explore the coral reef on glass bottomed
boats, go kayaking or horsebackriding. The mangrove forests, too, are fascinating.
Check out Norman Manley Boulevard and the live bands that entertain with sweet
reggae music. Add to that, great island food, and the perfect vacation picture will
