Montego Bay - Hip Strip
This one mile stretch of sea-side shopping area on Gloucester Avenue in Montego Bay is a always a hive of
activity, day and night. The atmosphere is constantly abuzz with vendors trying to get their products sold,
tourists walking around looking for good deals or people just hanging out - there’s always something going
on here. And, if you’re looking for a trip momento, Hip Strip is where you’ll find it as there is every souvenir
imaginable in the shops. But it’s not all about shopping. Walk along the strip, buy some jerk chicken or pork
and chat with the locals, then pop into Magaritaville and have some fun in the waterpark. End the day with
a cocktail or ice cold beer while relaxing on the beach at the end of the strip.
