About what awakened his love for cooking
Following my first trip to Guadeloupe, during
my very first encounter with my origins, I fell
in love with cooking. As a teenager, I needed
to discover my historical story and culture
and it is because of this that I have been able,
over time, to build myself and create my own
identity in the kitchen.
About his favourite dish to create
Adept at authenticity, I like to concoct
traditional dishes such as Chicken Colombo to
surprise my children, because meal time always
presents opportunities for family sharing.
About his greatest accomplishment to date
The greatest achievement is being able to
transmit my cooking know-how and share it
with others.
About his favourite memory of
Guadeloupe
The memory I keep with me is of my
daughter’s first trip to Guadeloupe. Very
much like my own.
