Black Hole Drop
Certainly not for the faint of heart, those whose
love for adventure supersedes abject fear will
eagerly venture into this black hole and love
every minute of it. The Black Hole Drop of Actun
Loch Tunich is located in the Blue Hole National
Park, 12 miles south of Belmopan. As the name
suggests, you will indeed be dropped - rappelled
- 400 feet into this very dark cave. Natural light
seeps in at the floor of the cave so your final
few feet of descent will be immuminated. Then,
you hike back up to the top, which is another
adventure!
