Bloomfield Great House
Located in Mandeville, this stunning colonial house
on the hill was once part of a coffee plantation on
Bloomfield Estate. Built in the 1800’s on beautiful
grounds, with spectacular views of the city of
Mandeville, this historic location was the perfect choice
for weddings of which they’ve hosted quite a few. The
restaurant formerly housed here, and its verandah,
from which you get unobstructed views of the city,
was a favourite with many of its clientele, who found
the ambience relaxing. The restaurant has since closed
down but the house remains, so visitors can drive by to
take a look at a piece of Jamaica’s heritage reflected in
this Georgian house on the hilltop.
