Las Terrenas This was once a fishing village which is now one of the most highly rated destinations in the country, offering a lovely combination of entertainment, dining and hotels, all reflecting a rich European influence. There is also its 18 miles of picturesque beaches with beach bars dotting the landscape complete with craft and souvenir shops.
