A laid-back, easy- going atmosphere pervades throughout this island where fishing was once its mainstay. Now, in addition to fishing, the tourist industry brings a new flavour. With the Great Barrier Reef nearby, this island attracts divers and snorkelers a-plenty. Swim in its beautiful azure waters, windsurf, go on a jungle tour or just relax, somewhere on the island. Shoes are optional. . . Photo Credit: Belize Tourism Board
