Botanic Gardens
The St Vincent Botanic Gardens
were established in 1765 and today
cover 20 acres. Among the tropical
plants is a breadfruit tree which
was supposedly grown from a seed
brought there by Captain Bligh of
H.M.S. Bounty fame. Also on the
grounds of the gardens is the St
Vincent National Museum which has
some pre-Columbian exhibits.

Fort Charlotte
Completed in 1806 Fort Charlotte
was named after the wife of King
George III, Queen Charlotte.
Although the fort was built more to
protect people from a land attack
than a sea attack, at 600ft it still
offers some great views of the coast
and sea.

Wallilabou Bay
Wallilabou Bay is where they
filmed Pirates of the Caribbean
and much of the sights are
memorable from the movie.
Although the bay is accessible
by road or sea, the sea approach
is far more adventurous. Here, a
visitor can walk about getting a
drink here and there or eat in the
restaurant which still has some
memorabilia from the movie on
display.
