Another outdoor/underground, activity that
is a must-do when visiting Jamaica is the
Green Grotto Caves experience. At 12 meters
underground, and 1,525 meters in length, this
wonderland of caves offers a mesmerising
experience to those who venture in. Your mind
would be rocked by formations coming from
ceiling and floor. Jewel-toned blue-green
crystal clear waters flow into underground
pools that fill you with wonder. The Green
Grotto Caves experience is one of Jamaica’s
most well-known natural attractions, and
when you visit, you will understand why.
When you visit Jamaica, in order to get a view of the history
and art of the country, there is a variety of places you can visit.
One such place is the National Gallery of Jamaica, located in
downtown, Kingston. Here, you can explore the history of the
island as depicted in paintings, pictures, sculptures and artefacts
that will immerse you into the history of the island you will come
to know and love. In addition to these staples, the gallery also
hosts displays from local artists, as well as free concerts that span
the areas of music and dance. Visiting the National Gallery of
Jamaica, opened every day except Monday, until 4:30 p.m. is a to-
do for the visitor who has interest in the arts as well as the history
