Grand Anse Beach
World-famous and one of the best in the world,
a visit to the 2 mile-long Grand Anse beach
is highly recommnded on a visit to Grenada.
Located at the south of the island, its turquoise
water is clear, clean and calm - perfect and safe
for swimming. Grape trees and hotels form a
backdrop against this beautiful setting which
locals and tourist both congenially occupy.

St. George’s Market Square
This is the largest market on the island, a bustling,
colourful setting which sits at the center of the
island’s capital, at the bottom of their Market Hill.
Here, vendors from all over the island come to sell
their produce - vegetables, fruits, craft, souvenir
items and spices. Especially busy on Saturday
which is “market day” it may be a bit cramped, so
it might be best to visit during the week. Vendors
are friendly and will share information about their
products without pressuring you to buy. Grenada
is called the “Isle of Spice” and a visit to the market
will confirm that.
