Belize
Belize is located in Central America, just to the South of
Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula and so has a coastline on the
Caribbean Sea. A relatively small country, it also has a
small population which means it has one of the smallest
population densities in the world, ranked 209 out of 239.
This does not however mean that it lacks diversity in
either eco-systems or culture, just that it makes it easier to
witness all the diversity whilst visiting the country.

Tourism
With Belize being home to the world’s second largest barrier reef and
enjoying a Caribbean climate, the country hosts an increasing number
of foreign tourists each year. Tourists though are not just able to enjoy
diving on the reef or relaxing under the shade of a coconut tree on a
beach, there are a wide range of other exciting things to do, so many in
fact that it will be difficult to take in all that Belize has to offer in just one
visit. Here though is a list of 4 things that they should try to do on a visit:
•
Experience the Reef and its Cayes
•
Visit one of the many Maya Sites
•
Enjoy Belize’s Diverse Wildlife
•
Have a cave Adventure in the Country’s Jungle
