by Nicolas Ramirez My Beautiful Margarita The Caribbean islands are all beautiful but my heart lies with Margarita. To me, its beauty is incomparable and there is always something new to discover and explore. Alas, when all there is to be discovered has been exhausted, I will happily re-discover, again and again, because Margarita’s beauty has no end. . . One of the best attractions of Margarita is visiting its national park, the Lagoon of The Restinga, which is also a natural reserve where you will find a diversity of marine wildlife. You have to start your tour getting a boat on the ferry station, go through the mangroves to finally arrive at the amazingly long beach of 22 kilometers. While there, you can buy local food which comes directly from the Caribbean Sea to your table. You can enjoy a lot of delicious dishes made with fresh fish such as bass (with fries) or feast on a tasty lobster fished from the sea, right before your eyes. The exquisite dishes will amaze and delight your palate. This and much more you’ll find on a visit to the Lagoon of The Restinga. Photo Credit: Ercik Bastidas
